Stud Service Information

 The Stud fee will depend upon which male you wish to use. Fee's range between $750.00 to $1000.00.  A $300.00 stud fee deposit is required up front. The remaining balance of the stud fee is payable within 2 weeks from the delivery date and guarantee of 2 or more live pups.  If the unfortunate happens and no litter results or if by chance you only have one pup, you are released from the stud fee balance, however the stud deposit and any other up-front fees are non-refundable.

Additional Fees:

Cooled semen:  

The stud fee deposit will cover up to two extractions, generally 48 hours apart.  We use and always have on hand both Chill 5 or Chill 10 extenders. If a third shipment should be requested due to timing issues, a $50.00 service fee will be charged per each extraction after the first two.

Extender charge is $15.00 per extraction/shipment.

Shipping Box Rental Fee $15.00 ea shipment.

Fed Ex Overnight Fee(s).

 With a typical chilled breeding, your cost upfront will be the stud fee deposit, the extender fees, the box rental fees and the cost of overnight shipping, therefore expect $360.00 plus the shipping fees.

*Please note that our shipping containers are made specifically for chilled-semen shipping. Your rental fee is credited back to your account when the boxes are returned to us.  It cost us about $30.00 to replaced each box including the special ice packs and outer protection vials. If you fail to return the boxes within 10 days, we will charge the actual replacement cost of each unreturned box to your account.

Overnight Fees: I prefer to have your fed-x account number so the fees will be applied to your fed-x account.  If not, I will need a credit card number to bill the fed-x overnight charges to.  Also, FYI, you can create a FREE fed-x account number online if you do not already have one.  Overnight express Fed-x fees for shipping usually cost between $40.00 and $70.00 per collection shipment, depending on your zip code. Fed-x has a rate calculator to use and my boxes ready to ship weigh 4 pounds.

We do HIGHLY recommend that you have your bitch progesterone tested if we are shipping semen. We will include an A.I. pipette, syringe and gloves to each box sent at no extra cost.

In-house Breeding. 

If you are close to us, we do offer in-house breeding via A.I. or natural providing your bitch has a current brucellosis test.  We  charge a $10.00 per day boarding fee if the bitch is going to be kept in our care during her breeding cycle. If not, you are more than welcome to bring her up for a breeding and take her home the same day. Depending upon her temperament and readiness, as stud dog owners, we reserve the right to choose A.I. or natural breeding for your female. We also encourage progesterone testing to reduce the amount of time she is kept here with us or the amount of trips you will have to bring her to us. This also minimizes stress on both the bitch and the stud dog. 

A Stud packet will be furnished to you at the time of breeding or shipping of semen and will contain health clearances copies on each stud dog, AKC information, Pedigree. A copy of our stud agreement will be emailed/mailed to you to review/sign and return with your deposit before semen is shipped. 

 We do provide free consultation on breeding questions or issues and once a breeding has taken place, we will also provide a link with your information on our website.
