IN HOUSE BREEDINGS:
v Ashland will perform at minimum of two breedings, 48 hours apart on bitches that are brought to us.
v Bitch owner must provide current Brucellosis test results, vaginal culture on current heat prior to any natural service. It is strongly advised the bitch owner perform Progesterone Testing to determine ovulation.
v All travel and/or shipping expenses for the bitch to and from this kennel are the responsibilities of the bitch owner.
v The bitch owner will reimburse Ashland for any test, cultures or medications or other veterinary services should they arise, be requested by the owner and/or be needed for the bitch if she is left with Ashland..
v The stud fee is $800.00. We require a $400.00 non-refundable deposit to be paid when the bitch is delivered to us. The balance is due when the bitch whelps. At least 2 pups born alive constitutes a litter.
v Fresh Extended A.I. will consist of two separate semen shipments 48 hours apart. We will utilize either overnight service via Fed-X or UPS or for same day service an airline carrier for shipping of semen.
v All Fresh Extended A.I. expenses are the responsibility of the bitch owner.
v The stud fee is $800.00. We require a $400.00 non-refundable deposit to be paid prior to the first semen shipment plus reimbursement for the cost of the extender, if the bitch owner does not have the extender drop shipped to us and actual shipping fees for the semen shipment. The balance is due when the bitch whelps. At least 2 pups whelped alive constitutes a litter.
STUD
OWNER GUARANTEES:
v In the event that no litter results, or if less than two live pups at birth, Ashland agrees to provide one repeat breeding service as listed above, at the bitches next heat cycle or to another bitch owned by the same owners listed in the agreement. The balance of $400.00 is not due until your bitch whelps, whether it be the original breeding or the repeat breeding. If you choose not to repeat the breeding, then you are released from the balance, however the paid deposit is non-refundable. In the event of “no pregnancy”, the bitch owner must furnish Ashland with proof that no pregnancy evolved and such proof must be sent to Ashland no later than 1 week past the last due date of bitch noted below or a repeat service will not be given.
v Stud owner will sign AKC litter application once received by the bitch owner with stud fee paid in full and will forward to the AKC upon evidence of whelping. Under NO circumstances will Ashland provide a signed AKC litter application to register puppies if stud fee has not been paid in full.
v Stud owner will provide 4-generation pedigree of stud dog, along with pictures of stud and copies of AKC, and all clearances.
BITCH
OWNER GUARANTEES:
v That bitch has not, nor will not be bred to any other male during her heat cycle.
v The bitch and resulting puppies will receive proper care, housing and nutrition AND veterinary care when needed.
v The resulting puppies will be sold or given away only in manner that promotes responsible breeding ethics which is defined as selling or giving puppies to quality, individual family homes with AKC papers marked limited registration and/or spay/neuter contracts.
v No puppies from this mating will be offered for sale through any dog broker, pet store, affiliate programs, raffles, auctions, flea markets, pet wholesalers, backyard breeders, puppy mills.
v In the event that one or more puppies from this litter may be of show and/or breeding quality. The bitch owner agrees to only sell or give “so called breeding rights or full registration” to another breeder of credential that DOES NOT associate in the sale of or to: dog brokers, pet stores, affiliate programs, raffles, auctions, flea markets, pet wholesalers, backyard breeders, puppy mills.
v The bitch owner agrees to provide to stud owner, a color photo of litter when born.
v Owner of bitch to provide to stud owner with the following prior to service: Photo copies of AKC registration, color photo of bitch, 4 generation or higher pedigree, AKC/ OFA/ACVO or CERF certificates.
v *Bitch owner can register litter online through AKC or canl send Ashland the completed and signed AKC litter application within 2 weeks of the whelping date, with a check payable to the AKC for the correct amount to register the litter. Ashland will then sign the litter application and immediately forward to the AKC for processing once the stud fee has been received by Ashland and funds clear the bank.
v If a puppy is to be taken in place of the stud fee, the bitch owner will allow Ashland to select a puppy between the ages of 6-8 weeks before any other puppies from the litter are sold or given away.

signing the above agreement, the bitch
and stud owner are bound to each
stipulation contained herein this
agreement.
